📝 A Note from the Pastor
Hi, I’m Pastor David — and I want you to know that you matter here. Whether you’re exploring faith, returning after time away, or just looking for a church that feels real and rooted, I’d love for you to find that at Bridgewater.
We’re a church that believes in grace without pretense, Scripture that speaks today, and a Savior who meets us right where we are. If you're curious, uncertain, or hopeful, you're not alone. Come as you are. We saved a seat for you.
Pastor: Rev. David Champ
David joined our church in April 2023 as our Pastor. He has previously served as a church planter, Associate Pastor, and youth ministry leader. He has been ordained in ECO since 2017. In addition to serving as pastor, David serves in denominational positions, helping to mentor and equip future ministry workers.
David and his wife, Elizabeth, have been married since 2016, and they have a daughter, Karina, a son, Cody, and a Beagle, Gotham. They currently reside in Mars, PA.
In the fall, David coaches Middle School Boys' Soccer for Mars and has previously been a varsity Assistant Coach and Head Coach.
He is a 2012 graduate of Grove City College with a B.A. in Biblical and Religious Studies as well as a 2015 graduate of Trinity School for Ministry where he completed his Masters of Divinity (M-Div) with a concentration in Church Planting and is currently working towards his Doctorate of Ministry (D-Min) from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in Leadership in a Changing Church Culture.
